Berkshire Hathaway has parked 41.7% of its $357 billion equity portfolio in three companies that use artificial intelligence to power core operations.

Those stakes sit in Apple (AAPL), Alphabet (GOOG/GOOGL), and Coca-Cola (KO) and total about $148.8 billion, reports The Motley Fool.

Apple alone accounts for 22.04% of the portfolio as Berkshire’s largest holding, with Apple Intelligence tools now summarizing messages, drafting replies, prioritizing notifications, and upgrading Siri across more than 2.5 billion active devices. The firm’s latest 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission shows that Berkshire holds 227.91 million APPL shares worth $65.95 billion.

Alphabet makes up 12.62% of Berkshire’s portfolio, as Google Cloud revenue jumped 82% year over year in the second quarter of 2026. Meanwhile, the unit carried a $514 billion order backlog as customers await more data centers to come online. Berkshire first bought Alphabet in the third quarter of 2025 under Warren Buffett, and new CEO Greg Abel has increased that position sixfold through 2026.

Berkshire now owns 78.8 million Class A shares (GOOGL) valued at $28.157 billion and 27.2 million Class C shares (GOOG) worth $9.6 billion, which have a total value of $37.757 billion.

Coca-Cola represents 10.86% of Berkshire’s portfolio, and the beverage company is using AI to sharpen marketing campaigns, supply chains, and factory output under a five-year, $1.1 billion Microsoft Azure agreement. The firm holds 400 million KO shares valued at $32.508 billion.

Buffett built the Apple and Coca-Cola stakes years earlier, and Abel has kept both as central portfolio pillars while leaning harder into Alphabet’s AI-driven growth.
