Micron Stock Prediction: Mizuho, Citi and UBS Set 12-Month Price Targets

Micron stock price target numbers from Wall Street are sitting well above where Micron Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: MU) shares are trading right now, and that is even after a pretty sharp pullback from the June 2026 highs. MU stock closed at $911.29 on August 12, up 4.92% on the day, and at the time of writing the average Micron stock price target across 46 analysts comes out to $1,501.98, according to S&P Global data. The Micron stock prediction from most firms also remains bullish, and the MU stock target Wall Street average points to more gains over the next 12 months, and that is part of a broader Micron stock forecast 2026 that a lot of firms on the Street now seem to share.

Mizuho And UBS Hold Firm On Their Micron Stock Price Target

Vijay Rakesh over at Mizuho Securities reiterated a Buy rating on MU stock, and that came from a note he sent out on August 11, and he kept his Micron stock price target at $1,375, which is a possible 59.7% upside from where shares sit right now. That kind of Micron stock price target confidence lines up with what a lot of Wall Street has been saying about supply. Timothy Arcuri at UBS was even more bullish about it, keeping a $1,625 Micron 12-month price target on the stock, which implies close to 88% upside, and he also pointed to industry checks that suggest only minor near-term changes. Both analysts cited pretty persistent tightness in the DRAM and NAND memory chip market that AI demand keeps fueling, as the main reason behind their MU stock target Wall Street levels.

Sumit Sadana, Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer at Micron, said:

“AI is a total game changer for memory and has made memory a strategic asset. We believe that the next five years or next ten years, we have tremendous tailwinds, a completely changed and robust business model, high levels of ROI expectations, and these SCAs that have been transformational, and we expect to be transformational for our business.”

Citi Lowers Its Micron 12-Month Price Target

Atif Malik at Citigroup lowered his Micron stock price target to $1,150 from $1,400 on August 6, and even though he cut it, he also kept a Buy rating on MU stock. The move still points to a possible 33.57% gain from current levels, and Citi trimmed its Micron stock forecast 2026 outlook a bit below where other firms on Wall Street sit right now.

Despite the cut, Malik’s rating shows that Citi remains part of the broader Micron stock prediction consensus, which stayed at Strong Buy across the 46 analysts that S&P Global tracks, with a low estimate of $361 and a high of $2,200.

KeyBanc And Cantor Fitzgerald Set The Highest Micron 12-Month Price Target Levels

John Vinh at KeyBanc has one of the higher numbers on Wall Street right now, with a Micron stock price target of $1,750, and he pointed to DRAM prices rising somewhere between 15% and 20% sequentially, with NAND climbing even faster this quarter. CJ Muse at Cantor Fitzgerald raised his Micron 12-month price target to $2,000 from $1,500, and he also pointed to long-term customer agreements that will cover roughly 40% of Micron’s revenue once the company fully executes them, as a reason for a steadier earnings cycle ahead.

Both targets sit well above the average MU stock target Wall Street figure of $1,501.98, and that is also why the Micron stock price target range on Wall Street keeps climbing even as the shares wobble, and they support the bullish Micron stock prediction that most of the 46 analysts covering the stock seem to share, even though the gap between the lowest and highest targets shows there is real disagreement over how far this AI cycle can run.

Wall Street’s Micron stock price target picture points higher across nearly every firm right now, from Mizuho and UBS to KeyBanc and Cantor Fitzgerald, and that is even after the recent pullback in MU stock. Citi remains the most cautious one, with its lowered Micron 12-month price target, but it still rates the stock a Buy at the time of writing. With the Micron stock forecast 2026 outlook still leaning bullish, and with Sadana’s remarks pointing to a business that fits the AI demand story, the Micron stock prediction for the next year stays firmly on the upside, and that also seems to be the read most analysts share.
