Nvidia stock (NASDAQ: NVDA) closed Friday’s trading session at $222 after rising 1.34% on the charts. The leading global GPU maker is moving at a snail’s pace in the indices and is testing the patience of investors. It is up 2.1% in a month and is experiencing little to no price traction. It remained trading below $200 for the first half of the year but slowly picked up steam to comfortably sit above the $220 level. Wall Street analysts are now projecting that NVDA could move forward and not see a decline to the $200 range.

On the heels of the newfound optimism, asset management firm Bernstein has delivered its most bullish price prediction for Nvidia stock. The financial entity is confident that not only would NVDA rise, but it would rise close to delivering gains of more than 50%. Taking an entry position in the equity now could be beneficial, as the asset could soon kick-start a rally, noted the institution. This makes Nvidia stock a lucrative buy if the price prediction turns out to be accurate.

Stacy Rasgon, Bernstein stock market analyst, wrote in a note to institutional clients last week, urging them to begin taking an entry position in Nvidia. The analyst gave a price prediction, projecting that NVDA would reach a new target of $400. This is the most bullish estimate for NVDA this year. It also marks an uptick and return on investment (ROI) of approximately 80% from its current price.

Therefore, an investment of $1,000 could turn into $1,800 if the price prediction turns out to be accurate. That’s massive gains, as not every asset in the market could come close to doubling investors’ money. Nvidia stock has been the most sought-after equity since 2020 for its unprecedented returns. Both retail and institutional funds have been relentlessly buying NVDA because it dominates the AI industry. An investment now, with a wait period of five to 10 years, can make investors’ portfolios swell.
