Shiba Inu’s official X account praised a fan comparison that calls a $1 SHIB “mathematically improbable but NOT IMPOSSIBLE.” However, the graphic attached to that post lists a Shiba Inu price more than double the current level.
For SHIB holders, that gap changes the math. At today’s Shiba Inu price, a $1 token would need a roughly 200,000-fold rally. That would push SHIB’s value far beyond Bitcoin’s entire market cap.
Why the Team’s Praise Rests on Inflated Numbers
On November 2, a commentary account published a post comparing SHIB with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and rival meme coins. The author called SHIB a high-beta asset, meaning its price tends to swing harder than the broader market.
The post also warned that extra zeros after the decimal do not mean extra upside. Instead, market cap, supply, liquidity, and real demand matter far more, the author argued.
The Shiba Inu team then shared the post with its followers and called it “nice work.”

Yet the infographic overstates current prices. It shows SHIB at $0.000012 and 86% below its record. By contrast, current Shiba Inu price data puts the token about 95% below its October 2021 peak. SHIB has not traded as high as $0.000012 at any point in the past year.
The rival figures run high as well. Dogecoin (DOGE) appears at $0.20, while the DOGE price now sits well below $0.10.
DOGE holders chase a $1 target of their own, which newly launched Dogecoin Labs aims to support with real usage.
Similarly, Bonk (BONK), a Solana meme coin that lost its Upbit listing, now trades at a fraction of the $0.000021 shown.
What a $1 Shiba Inu Price Would Actually Require?
Roughly 589 trillion SHIB tokens are in circulation. At $1 each, the token’s market cap would reach about $589 trillion. That figure is simple arithmetic, price multiplied by supply, not the amount of money buyers would need to put in.
That sum equals hundreds of times Bitcoin’s current market value. Therefore, supply rather than price alone sets the ceiling, which is the post’s own point.
Meanwhile, the team has struck a more cautious tone lately. In late October, it urged traders toward caution after a $20 million liquidation wave.
The project has also pushed beyond its own network, bringing SHIB on Solana in October. Such moves target demand, the variable the post itself called decisive.
Still, the $1 debate keeps resurfacing even as meme coin prices drift lower. Whether new demand can narrow that gap remains the open question behind every Shiba Inu price prediction.
