According to financial disclosures and recent 13F filings, US President Donald Trump holds a significant position in Alphabet’s Google stock (NASDAQ: GOOG). The accumulation spree began in 2025, with his fund managers making multiple purchases as the company surged ahead with its AI ventures and products. Donald Trump currently owns close to $15.9 million worth of Google shares as of September 2026. A White House spokesperson confirmed that the trades were initiated by independently managed fund managers. He stressed that the President and his family members did not initiate the trades. Did Donald Trump Make Profits By Investing in Google Stock?

However, the report has not officially disclosed whether Donald Trump’s Google stock holdings remain in profit. The President also boasted about how amazing the US stock market is performing lately. “You know why I’m profiting? Because the stock market’s going up, everybody’s profiting. We have funds that run my money,” he said. Critics have said that Trump is profiting from the AI sector, as he’s the one making laws on the AI industry.
Donald Trump’s Google stock purchases coincide with Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway going bullish on the company. The investment arm has bought a $10 billion stake in Alphabet this year in a direct private placement. Alphabet has raised $80 billion to fund its AI plans and build the roadmap for next-gen technology. By scaling its investments, Alphabet could soon reward traders with nigger returns.
Donald Trump stands a chance to make massive gains with Google stock by the end of the decade. The AI industry is experiencing massive demand and will continue to grow immensely. Taking an entry position in GOOG now could deliver staggering returns in the next five to 10 years. By then, AI tech will reach the mainstream and be a normal part of our daily lives. The time to invest in AI is ripe, and the current technology as we know it could see a major shift by 2036.
