Shiba Inu Gets New Listing And Dubai Adoption: Will Prices Rally?

Shiba Inu (SHIB) was recently listed on the Australian exchange FameEX. The asset saw a sudden price rally to $0.00001004 on the platform soon after its induction. Shiba Inu (SHIB) also saw a recent Dubai adoption. The asset is now usable at Dubai Duty Free airport stores. Both developments are rather bullish and may help expose SHIB to new users. Let’s discuss if prices will rally.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) has struggled to gain steam over the last year and a half. The popular cryptocurrency climbed to the $0.000032 price level in December 2024, but has since been on a downward trajectory. SHIB even struggled to gain momentum during the 2025 bull market. While Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP, etc. hit new all-time highs, SHIB was barely holding on to its support levels.

Shiba Inu’s (SHIB) lackluster performance is due to several factors. Firstly, SHIB is considered a memecoin with substantially higher risk than many other crypto assets. Risk appetite among investors is quite low and memecoins have not seen much positive price action.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) has also suffered due to the lack of hype. SHIB had one of the most successful launches in crypto history. The asset rallied by several million percent within months of its debut in August 2020. At the time there was substantial demand for SHIB with considerable online hype. However, the hype has died down over the last few years.

While the recent Australian listing and Dubai adoption are bullish developments, it is unlikely to push Shiba Inu’s (SHIB) price unless the larger market recovers. We could see some increase in use cases, but the retail investors at large are skeptical about memecoins in the current market. SHIB could see a bullish break out when Bitcoin (BTC) and the larger crypto market is back on its feet.
