Trendline & Liquidity Trading Guidelines

1. Define the Primary Trend
Begin by identifying the overall market direction using higher highs and higher lows for an uptrend, or lower highs and lower lows for a downtrend. Draw the trendline only after clear swing points have formed.

2. Mark Key Liquidity Areas
Identify liquidity above previous highs and below previous lows, as these zones often contain pending orders and stop-losses that attract price.

3. Use Trendlines as a Guide, Not a Signal
A trendline provides directional context but should never be treated as a standalone entry signal. Always combine it with price action and market structure.

4. Wait for Price to Reach Liquidity
Allow price to interact with a significant liquidity zone before making any trading decision. Avoid anticipating the move too early.

5. Confirm the Liquidity Sweep
Observe whether price takes liquidity by sweeping a key high or low. This often precedes the market's intended directional move.

6. Validate the Market Structure
Look for a Break of Structure (BOS) or Change of Character (CHoCH) after the liquidity event to confirm a potential shift or continuation in trend.

7. Enter Only After Confirmation
Execute trades only when the setup is supported by market structure, price action, and confirmation candles. Avoid impulsive entries.

8. Apply Professional Risk Management
Place the stop-loss beyond the invalidation point or liquidity sweep and ensure every trade maintains a favorable risk-to-reward ratio.

9. Align with the Higher Timeframe
Give preference to setups that follow the higher-timeframe trend, as they generally provide stronger probabilities and greater reliability.

10. Maintain Patience and Discipline
Successful trading comes from following a structured process. Wait for complete confirmation and avoid emotional or FOMO-driven decisions.
