SOFI trade Results from November 3, 2025.

Outcome: I was stopped out for a small loss after the trade moved into profit for a period.

Main takeaway: this setup did not offer enough reward relative to the risk. It went against one of my core reminders: a falcon doesn’t chase every shadow—only what’s worth the dive.

I also overlooked the importance of the daily buying level below price. That level had been defended several times and ultimately held after I was stopped out.

My three execution questions are:

1. Is the trend clear?
2. Am I prepared to lose this trade, based on the stop loss and position size?
3. How long am I willing to remain in the trade?

Looking back, this trade did not pass those questions strongly enough.

Since then, I have become more focused on daily buying and selling levels, body closes around those levels, and whether a setup offers enough room for at least a 1:3 or 1:4 risk-to-reward ratio.

I later took another SOFI position and exited for a very small profit. I am currently out of the market and may treat SOFI as a longer-term investment idea rather than part of my regular swing-trading watchlist.

The goal of this review is simple: learn from the loss, improve the process, and keep developing.
