XAUUSD has formed a clear double-bottom pattern around the 4,020 area, showing that buyers successfully defended this support zone twice. After the second low, price rebounded strongly and broke above the neckline near 4,078, confirming a short-term reversal signal.

What stands out is that after the breakout, price returned to retest the neckline and quickly attracted buying pressure. This suggests that the former resistance is turning into support, strengthening the possibility that the double-bottom pattern will continue to play out.

If the retest zone around 4,078 continues to hold, I expect XAUUSD to resume its upward move toward the 4,130 target. On the other hand, if price falls back below the neckline and fails to reclaim this area, the double-bottom pattern will weaken and the bullish scenario will no longer be preferred.
