XAUUSD 4300 rip — 4177 reload or trap?
XAUUSD 4300 rip — 4177 reload or trap?
That 4,300 spike was wild.
Gold didn’t just bounce. It exploded out of the accumulation box, broke structure, cleaned the EQH, then ran straight into fresh highs. That is real momentum. Not some tiny reaction candle.
But yeah. I’m not chasing after a vertical move.
Price is stretched now. From the 4,070 base into 4,300 in one fast leg. Late buyers are already excited. That’s exactly where the market likes to pull back and test who is actually strong.
Main bias stays bullish while gold holds above 4,150 - 4,177.
That FVG + Fibo zone is the area I care about. If price cools off into 4,177 - 4,150 and buyers defend it, that’s the clean reload. Not at the top. Not in the middle. In the imbalance.
Macro is helping bulls too. Hormuz tension cooling, Fed hike pressure easing a bit, institutional and China ETF flows coming back strong. Good fuel. But NFP is still the landmine. One hot jobs print and gold can shake out weak longs fast.
Trading scenario:
Buy idea only if gold pulls back into 4,177 - 4,150 and gives a clean reaction.
Entry zone: 4,150 - 4,177 after confirmation
Stop loss: below 4,110
TP1: 4,213
TP2: 4,260
TP3: 4,300
Final target: 4,365 if momentum stays strong
No pullback, no chase. Simple.
If gold closes hard below 4,110, this bullish continuation idea gets messy. Then the breakout starts looking like a trap, and 4,025 can come back into play.
For now, I’m reading this as accumulation breakout first, FVG reload next.
You buying the 4,177 retest, or waiting for 4,300 to break again?
