Why is XRP falling despite positive Ripple news?
Why is XRP falling despite positive Ripple news?
Ripple is expanding regulated capital-markets infrastructure on XRP Ledger, but XRP has fallen to $1.0649. The fundamental story is improving while the 4H structure remains under pressure.
What happened
Ripple announced investments in ZILO and Licuido. The companies will add regulated transfer-agency, asset-issuance and collateral-management services to Ripple’s infrastructure on XRPL.
This expands the network’s institutional capabilities, but does not guarantee immediate demand for XRP.
Why $1.0615 matters
— It is the low of the current 4H candle.
— The latest rebound was rejected near $1.0856.
— EMA 9 at $1.0717 now acts as resistance.
— SMA 50 remains overhead at $1.0766.
— MACD is improving, but both lines remain below zero.
The market is treating Ripple’s announcement as a long-term infrastructure development, not an immediate reason to buy XRP. Until price reclaims its short-term moving averages, positive news alone may not be enough to reverse momentum.
Will buyers defend $1.0615, or will XRP test $1.045 next?
