Nasdaq 100 at Major Resistance — Rejection or Breakout?
The US Tech 100 has recovered strongly from the recent lows and is now testing a major resistance zone around 29,740–29,750, an area that previously rejected price several times.
After such an aggressive rally, the market looks increasingly stretched:
RSI is above 70, signalling overbought conditions.
Price is struggling to break and hold above resistance.
MACD remains positive, but bullish momentum appears to be slowing.
The current structure offers an interesting short-term risk-to-reward opportunity if rejection is confirmed.
📉 Bearish Trade Idea
📍 Entry: 29,746
🎯 Target 1: 29,654
🎯 Target 2: 29,502
🎯 Target 3: 29,263
🛑 Stop Loss: 29,867
A decisive breakout and 2-hour close above the resistance zone would invalidate the bearish scenario. Until then, I am watching for rejection and a potential pullback toward the nearby support levels.
