Can XRP hold $1.016 after another failed rebound?
▫️ XRP trades near $1.026 after its recovery was rejected at $1.038. Price has fallen below the EMA 9, while the SMA 50 and SMA 200 remain overhead.
▫️ Ripple continues expanding its institutional infrastructure through RLUSD, Ripple Mint and new payment partnerships. These developments support the ecosystem long term, but have not created immediate demand for XRP.
▫️ Recent on-chain reports point to whale accumulation. However, rising selling volume and repeated resistance rejections show that buyers still lack control.
▫️ MACD remains positive but is losing momentum. Immediate support sits at $1.016, while $1.032–1.038 remains the main resistance zone.
A confirmed close above $1.038 opens the way toward $1.050–1.055. Losing $1.016 would expose $1.005–1.000.
