Because today's backdrop favors a cautiously bullish to buy-the-dip, this is my bias going into the New York session. My bias is bullish as long as price remains above the 200 EMA on the 5- or 15-minute chart. Ideally, I will wait for the opening volatility to establish a demand zone or come down and mitigate one of earlier demand or FVG. If price retraces into a fresh demand zone while the 14 EMA remains above the 50 EMA and the 50 EMA remains above the 200 EMA, look for bullish confirmation (strong rejection candle or engulfing pattern) before entering long. Initial targets are the overnight high followed by any developing intraday supply zone. If price loses the 200 EMA with strong momentum, stand aside rather than buying the first dip. Today's edge comes from buying pullbacks, not chasing breakouts. Let's see what we get.
