SPCX: A Decision Zone
Over the past month, SPCX has transitioned from a persistent downtrend into a well-defined consolidation range. Rather than chasing a directional bias, I'm watching for the market to tell us which path it wants to take over the next couple of weeks.
From my perspective, there are three reasonable scenarios.
Scenario 1: Bullish Resolution
The most constructive outcome would be a volume-confirmed breakout above the pre-earnings high near 125.
That would suggest buyers have absorbed the recent supply and could signal the beginning of a new leg higher. I would much rather wait for confirmation than anticipate the move.
Scenario 2: Bearish Resolution
The bearish case develops if price experiences a volume-confirmed breakdown below 107.
Losing that support would invalidate much of the recent consolidation and could open the door for another move lower.
Again, confirmation is key.
Scenario 3: Range Continues
The third possibility is that neither side wins immediately.
Price could continue rotating between support and resistance while building additional structure. Personally, I don't view this as a negative outcome. Range-bound markets often provide multiple trading opportunities for disciplined traders willing to respect the established levels.
My Thoughts
Right now, I don't think SPCX is screaming "buy" or "sell."
I think it's saying:
"Pay attention. A decision is coming."
Whether that decision is bullish, bearish, or simply another week of consolidation, I believe all three outcomes present tradable structures if managed appropriately.
As always, I'd rather react to confirmation than try to predict the future.
Full disclosure: I currently own a small position in SPCX. This reflects my personal analysis and is not financial advice.
