H4 Bullish Continuation Toward Higher Liquidity
XAUUSD is trading around 4,258 after a strong bullish displacement from the reaccumulation range. The H4 structure remains clearly bullish, with price holding above the latest BOS and building above previous institutional supply.
Gold remains supported by recent safe-haven demand, but today’s U.S. employment report is the key macro risk. Consensus is around 80K new payrolls with unemployment near 4.2%. A stronger report could lift the dollar and Treasury yields, while weaker labour data may reinforce gold’s bullish momentum. Middle East uncertainty and firmer oil prices also remain important volatility drivers.
Technical View
The breakout above the 4,200 institutional supply area confirms a major H4 bullish expansion. Price is now trading above the previous range and maintaining higher highs and higher lows.
The 4,218–4,235 area is the primary demand zone. A controlled pullback into this region could provide the next higher-low structure before continuation.
If price retraces deeper, the 4,155–4,180 unmitigated H4 FVG becomes the next important support. The secondary demand around 4,085–4,125 remains the deeper structural defence.
On the upside, the first liquidity objective sits around 4,290–4,310. Acceptance above this area would keep the expansion active toward the major liquidity objective near 4,375–4,400.
Key Zones
Current price: 4,258
Primary demand: 4,218–4,235
Unmitigated H4 FVG: 4,155–4,180
Secondary demand: 4,085–4,125
First liquidity objective: 4,290–4,310
Major liquidity objective: 4,375–4,400
Major swing low: 3,942.069
Trading Plan
Buy Priority: 4,218–4,235
Condition: wait for an H4 pullback into primary demand, followed by bullish rejection, liquidity-sweep reclaim or higher-low confirmation.
SL: below 4,200
TP1: 4,290–4,310
TP2: 4,375
TP3: 4,390–4,400
Important Note
Price is already extended after the latest bullish displacement, so chasing above 4,260 offers weaker positioning.
A deeper retracement into the 4,155–4,180 H4 FVG would still fit the bullish structure if buyers reclaim the zone. Today’s U.S. jobs report may create sharp liquidity sweeps before direction becomes clear.
Final View
The H4 structure remains bullish. The cleaner plan is to wait for a pullback into 4,218–4,235 before targeting 4,300 and the higher liquidity objective near 4,400.
Will gold defend primary demand before the next expansion toward 4,300?
