BANKNIFTY 1DAY
📊 Bank Nifty — Symmetrical Triangle Nearing a Decision Point
Bank Nifty is currently forming a well-defined Symmetrical Triangle on the Daily timeframe, with price gradually compressing between a descending resistance trendline and a rising support trendline.
After the sharp correction from the 61,000+ zone and the subsequent recovery from around 50,000, the index has been making progressively tighter swings, indicating a clear contraction in volatility.
Price is now approaching the apex of the triangle, which suggests that a larger directional move may be approaching.
Key levels to watch:
🔼 Bullish breakout: A strong daily close above the descending trendline, preferably supported by increased volume, could trigger a momentum move toward the previous resistance zones around 59,000 → 60,000 → 61,000.
🔽 Bearish breakdown: A decisive break below the rising support trendline could invalidate the current consolidation structure and open the way toward 56,000 → 54,000 → 52,000 zones.
My view:
The pattern itself does not predict the direction — the breakout confirms the direction.
Therefore, rather than anticipating the move inside the triangle, I would wait for a confirmed breakout/breakdown with volume and then look for a retest for a higher-probability entry.
Bank Nifty is currently at a critical compression zone. The next decisive move could define the short-term trend.
