🧭 THE TEMPTATION
Flow has gone heavy. CVD soft for days, stablecoin dominance ticking up,
longs getting squeezed on the liquidations tape, and the squeeze fuel that
pushed price up is fading. On a pure "what does flow say?" read, a short
looks obvious.

That is exactly when mid-range shorts feel smart — and get expensive.

⚠️ WHY IT IS STILL A PASS FROM HERE
Price is not at the edge. It is sitting in the middle/upper half of the 4H
range, still below the resistance zone overhead.

A proper short stop has to live BEYOND that resistance. From mid-range, that
stop is far enough that risk/reward collapses — you are paying full edge-risk
for a half-move to the first target. We do not tighten the stop just to make
the spreadsheet look pretty. That mistake already taught us once: shorting
"because flow is heavy" from the middle of the map is how you donate.

So the choice is not "short or no short."
It is: short from a bad location with a floating stop —
or the SAME short from the ceiling, with the stop behind structure.

🔍 THE MAP (not a live order)
• Main watch — rejection short: only if price tags the 4H resistance zone
(mid/high-$64.5k area) and fails there. Then the short becomes a location
trade, not a mood trade.
• Breakdown plan: clean acceptance below the range floor (low-$62k area) →
trend-short on a retest of the broken level — not armed from here in advance.
• PASS if price just rotates in the middle without touching either edge.

Yes — if price turns down from here without kissing the ceiling, we miss that
leg. We have tried to "fix" that miss with wider zone tolerance and chase
logic before. On history those patches lost money: the extra fills did not
pay for the worse entries. Missing a mid-range gift is paid insurance, not a
hole in the system.
