BTC Finally Broke The Range - Above 65,033.
BTC Finally Broke The Range - Above 65,033.
The laggard broke out. After two weeks capped by 65,033 and a failed poke on Thursday, BTC has now pushed through and is trading 65,080, above the ceiling, with a fresh bull announcement printing. The range that held all this time has resolved up - BTC is finally joining the equity rally, and on the Thursday gate day it closed higher. The move is young, though: an NR7 is compressing and the surface is only neutral, so the breakout needs to hold 65,033 as support to confirm. Neutral.
Resistance: 65,360 - the recent high
Key resistance: 65,890 - next shelf up
Current price: 65,080
Support: 65,033.53 - the broken ceiling, now support to hold
Key support: 64,400.89 - the old range top
Structural floor: 63,796.21 - deeper support
Two paths from here:
It holds 65,033 as support and extends. A breakout that flips the broken level to support is the real thing - holding above 65,033 opens 65,890 and confirms BTC has joined the trend. The fresh announcement and the close above are constructive.
It falls back into the range - a false break. BTC has poked above this level before and been sold. If 65,033 does not hold as support and price falls back under 64,400, the breakout was a trap and the range reasserts. The first close above has to stick.
BTC finally did what it could not for two weeks and broke 65,033 - the laggard is catching up. Now the level it broke has to hold as support. Above 65,033 the breakout is real; back below 64,400 and it was a fakeout.
