**Gold (XAUUSD) – Potential Bearish Outlook**

Gold is currently trading inside the yellow ascending channel shown on the chart. My main idea is to look for a possible selling opportunity near the upper part of this channel, where price may face resistance and lose bullish momentum.

If price is rejected from this zone and breaks below the channel’s lower boundary, it could confirm the beginning of a broader bearish trend. In that scenario, gold may continue moving lower through the remaining months of the year.

I will watch for bearish confirmation—such as rejection candles, weakening momentum, or a confirmed breakdown—before considering an entry. A strong breakout and close above the channel would invalidate this bearish outlook.
