In this video I broke down a missed long opportunity on gold — and why I’m prioritizing gold more going forward (clean trend behavior, high volume, and it respects structure well).

Where I went wrong

- I split my focus by treating the range as “either long or short,” even though the broader structure was already bullish.
- A higher-high / higher-low sequence was already developing and I didn’t give that enough weight early enough.
- Candle bodies closing above the prior pivot level was a clear buy-side clue that I overlooked.

What I’m doing next time

- I’m going to respect the full 4H structure series first (HH/HL context), and only then drill into the most recent pivots.
- If I see 4H strength building, I’m going to monitor the 1H more closely for early ICC/entry triggers.
- I’m setting alerts on the M15 specifically to track potential corrections back into the zone (study-first, not FOMO entries).
- I’ll revisit gold on Sunday, digest the week’s trades, and prep for next week.

What I did right

- I didn’t chase the move. If I don’t have a valid stop, I don’t force the trade.
