XAUUSD remains below the descending trendline, while the resistance zone above continues to limit recovery attempts. Price has tested this area several times but has failed to sustain any upward momentum, suggesting that sellers are still defending the zone effectively.

If bearish signals appear, such as upper-wick rejection, bearish reversal patterns, or signs of weakening buying pressure, I expect price to continue declining toward 4,005. This is an important support area that has attracted buying interest several times in the past.

However, a clear breakout and sustained move above the resistance zone would weaken the bearish outlook. This is a key area where price action may provide clearer clues about the next direction.
