XAUUSD: Market Analysis and Recommendations for August 6th
Gold rebounded yesterday after testing $4065, with significant gains in the European and American sessions. The bullish trend continued into the Asian session today, reaching a high of $4304. The daily chart closed with a large gain, the Bollinger Bands are widening upwards, the 5-day and 10-day moving averages are trending upwards, the TRIX and KDJ indicators have formed a golden cross, and the MACD histogram is turning upwards. The daily chart indicates a bullish trend.
On the hourly chart, after yesterday's sharp rise, gold retreated after reaching a high of $4304 today and is currently trading around $4260. The price action has been downward, the KDJ indicator has formed a death cross, and the MACD histogram is showing decreasing upward momentum, indicating significant short-term downward pressure and a potential break below today's low of $4243. Given the bullish daily chart, intraday trading should focus on buying on dips, with support levels at $4220 and $4200.
My recommendations:
BUY: 4225~4220 SL: 4210 TP: 4250-4260
SELL: 4300~4305 SL: 4315 TP: 4260-4250
