XAUUSD has failed once again after approaching the resistance zone above. Although buyers have made several attempts to push price beyond this area, each upward move has quickly been absorbed by selling pressure, showing that supply still holds the short-term advantage.

The positive point is that the ascending trendline below has repeatedly acted as support. This will be an important area for buyers to defend if they want to preserve the current bullish structure. However, with price continuing to face rejection at resistance, the probability of another pullback toward the trendline is becoming higher.

I expect XAUUSD to remain under short-term pressure and retest the ascending trendline. If strong buying interest appears there and produces a clear bullish reversal signal, price could begin another move toward the resistance zone. On the other hand, if the trendline breaks, selling pressure may extend further and shift the short-term outlook into a more bearish structure.
