After rebounding from the support zone, XAUUSD moved closer to the descending trendline but quickly faced renewed selling pressure. This is not the first rejection from this area, showing that sellers are still defending this dynamic resistance and have not allowed a short-term bullish trend to be confirmed.

What stands out is that despite several attempts by buyers to push price higher, each upward move has been absorbed near the trendline. This suggests that buying momentum is weakening, while sellers continue to regain control whenever price approaches the resistance area.

If the descending trendline continues to hold, I expect XAUUSD to return toward the 4,020–4,030 support zone in the near term. Only a decisive breakout above the trendline, followed by sustained trading above it, would significantly weaken the bearish pressure and improve the bullish outlook.
