Gold Morning Strategy: Selling on Pressure Remains King!
Gold prices tested the lows again, influenced by the situation in the Middle East; yesterday, the price touched a low near the 4019 level. Following a gap-up opening on Monday—triggered by remarks from Trump—the price faced downward pressure, and the gap was promptly filled; the market then underwent a period of fluctuation and consolidation leading into today's opening.
Looking at the current 4-hour chart, overhead resistance remains significant. Key resistance levels to watch include the 4068–4083 range (short-term), the 4090–4100 zone, and—most importantly—the 4120–4125 area. On the downside, short-term support lies in the 4020–4025 range, with critical support at 3990–4000. The strategy remains firmly bearish: look to sell into rallies where resistance holds.
Gold Trading Strategy:
1. Short gold in the 4068–4083 range; add to short positions if it rebounds to the 4090–4100 range. Set stop-loss at 4109. Target the 4020–4026 range; if that level breaks, look toward 3990–4000.
