AUDTHB Eyes PMI Data
Fundamental Outlook
AUDTHB is expected to trade within a range with a bearish bias in the short term, as its direction continues to be largely influenced by USDTHB, which remains the key driver of the pair.
Today, markets are closely watching Australia's Manufacturing PMI to assess the health of the country's manufacturing sector. Investors are also monitoring China's Caixin Manufacturing PMI, a key indicator of manufacturing activity in Australia's largest trading partner.
If both the Australian and Chinese PMI data come in stronger than expected, it could support the Australian dollar by reinforcing confidence in economic growth and the global trade outlook.
Technical Outlook
AUDTHB continues to favor a Bearish outlook after being rejected from the 23.55 resistance level. The pair has since formed consecutive bearish candlesticks and fallen below its short-term moving average, indicating that sellers have regained control of the near-term momentum.
In addition, the price is approaching the Fair Value Gap (FVG) at 23.36–23.34, which represents the first downside target. If selling pressure continues, AUDTHB could move lower to fill liquidity within this zone.
As long as the pair remains below 23.43, the bearish outlook is expected to remain intact, with downside targets at 23.36–23.34.
Bearish Scenario: 23.36–23.34
Bullish Scenario (Only if price holds above 23.43): 23.43–23.45
Cut Loss (Short Position): Above 23.43
