I've used ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude for strategy development so far — Claude has been the best.

My process usually starts with an idea, and I ask the AI if it makes sense.

I'd execute it either way, even if the AI disagrees — I trust my own judgment on what makes sense more than the AI's.

But I still ask every time, partly for the process, partly to see if it adds useful context I hadn't considered.

The most important thing: you can never fully trust AI.

It's a machine, and the financial market is also a machine — one of the biggest, most sophisticated machines there is.

You will not beat it with AI slop you can't verify yourself.
You have to be the master of the AI. Understand the code, understand your indicators, understand the strategy's behavior.

Understanding and executing your own strategy properly — that's where your edge lies.
