Are Ethereum whales buying the bottom?
ETH has rallied toward $1,917 on rising volume, while large wallets continue accumulating.
However, CryptoQuant describes this as a late-stage bear market—not a confirmed bottom.
▫️ Wallets holding 10,000–100,000 ETH increased their balance from approximately 14M to a record 19.6M ETH
▫️ Wallets above 100,000 ETH added around 1.8M ETH since mid-2025
▫️ Smaller holders with 1,000–10,000 ETH reduced their balance from 15.6M to 12.9M ETH
▫️ ETH remains below its estimated realized price of approximately $2,450
On the chart, ETH has reclaimed the $1,880–1,896 moving-average zone with a sharp increase in volume and bullish MACD momentum. Price is now approaching resistance at $1,928.
Whales are absorbing supply from smaller holders, but accumulation does not guarantee that the bottom is already in. Holding above $1,896 would keep the short-term breakout intact.
