BTC price structure in 2018 mid-term year.

Back in 2018, after the initial bear market decline, BTC didn't fall in a straight line. Instead, it went through several relief rallies that convinced many traders the bottom was already in.

The sequence looked something like this:

March: First major low after the sell-off.
Late April: Strong relief rally.
June: Liquidity sweep below the March low.
July: Another recovery rally.
August: Price gave back nearly all of the gains.
Late August: One final minor rally toward the Bull Market Support Band (BMSB).
September–October: Sideways consolidation with decreasing volatility.
November: Final capitulation that reset the market before the next cycle began.

When I compare that structure with today's market, I notice similar characteristics:

Multiple relief rallies after a significant decline.
Price interacting with the Bull Market Support Band.
Momentum gradually weakening despite higher bounces.
A market that appears to be transitioning from optimism into indecision.

I'm not saying history will repeat exactly. Markets rarely follow the same script. However, they often rhyme because investor psychology tends to repeat across cycles.

If this analogue continues to play out, we could see a period of range-bound price action before the market chooses its next major direction.

This is simply a structural comparison—not a prediction. I'll continue updating this idea as new weekly candles form.

What do you think? Is the current market echoing the 2018 mid-cycle structure, or are we looking at a completely different setup this time?
