Bitcoin: Bulls Meet a Major Confluence of Resistance

Bitcoin: Bulls Meet a Major Confluence of Resistance

Bitcoin / TetherUS BINANCE:BTCUSDT

A Critical Resistance Zone
Bitcoin is testing one of the most significant resistance areas on the chart, where the 0.382 Fibonacci retracement, previous swing highs and the 100-Day EMA all converge. A successful break here would mark an important technical improvement for the bulls.

VRVP Favours a Breakout
The VRVP shows the heaviest concentration of volume around current prices, while volume drops away noticeably above resistance. If buyers can reclaim this area, price may encounter relatively less overhead supply on any further advance.

Primary Trend Still Points Lower
Despite the recent recovery, the primary trend remains bearish, with the 100/50-Day EMAs still bearishly crossed and acting as resistance. Until that broader picture changes, rallies should still be viewed with a degree of caution.

Volume Raises a Question
The latest advance has been accompanied by declining volume, suggesting buying conviction is fading as price approaches resistance. That doesn't guarantee a rejection, but it does reduce confidence in the sustainability of the current move.

In Summary
Bitcoin has rallied into one of the chart's most important confluence resistance zones, where multiple technical factors are now coming together. While the VRVP suggests there is relatively little overhead resistance if bulls can break through, the primary trend remains bearish, and buying volume has weakened into the rally. A successful breakout would improve the outlook considerably, while another rejection would keep the recent recovery under pressure.
