03/03/26 Weekly Outlook
Last weeks high: $65,751.47
Last weeks low: $62,282.75
Midpoint: $64,017.11
A clear bearish structure last week as BTC ranged $62,282–$65,751, price printed lower highs off the $65,751 open, sliced through the $64,017 midpoint and the $63,149 (0.25) shelf, and is now pinned just above the $62,282 weekly low. Momentum is clearly down, and BTC sits at the bottom of the range with no reclaim yet. The immediate line is $62,282 — losing it opens sub-$62k air. To repair structure, bulls need back above $63,149, then the $64,017 midpoint, with $65,000 the key psychological reclaim.
Bull case: Price is sitting on a $62,000–62,500 support shelf, and Thursday's $233M ETF inflow (IBIT-led) snapped a four-day outflow streak — an oversold bounce toward $63,149/$64,017 is viable if the low holds.
Bear case: The July 29 hawkish hold (three dissenters favouring a hike) plus rising yields and post-FOMC "sell-the-news" seasonality favour a break of $62,282, especially if Friday's payrolls run hot.
Macro: A data-heavy week culminates in Friday's jobs report — the largest input into September hike odds (~57%). CLARITY Act's window closes near Aug 7.
